SET A COURSE FOR MARYPORT MARITIME MUSEUM
CURIOSITY SETS SAIL HERE
Every visit to Maryport Maritime Museum is a chance to discover something new. We’re developing ways for visitors of all ages to learn more about Maryport’s history – from family-friendly activities and talks to school sessions and community events that celebrate local heritage and creativity.
For now, we’re focusing on getting the museum ready to welcome you aboard. Keep an eye on our What’s On page and social channels for updates as our programme grows.

The museum sits on North Quay, overlooking Maryport harbour and a short walk from the town centre. Inside, you’ll find stories of the sea, the land, and the deep underground, told through the people who lived and worked here.
